Freehold First Aid is your local all volunteer EMS provider. When you call 9-1-1 for an ambulance, our volunteer Emergency Medical Technicians are dispatched. Each ambulance is staffed by at least two volunteer EMTs.

Our ambulances responds to approximately 3,800 medical emergencies each year.

In addition to responding to 9-1-1 emergency calls, Freehold First Aid EMTs volunteer their time to provide medical coverage at many local events. You may have seen our EMTs at Cruise Nights in the borough or at high school graduations and football games in the township and borough.

We also provide medical assistance during large scale incidents. In fact, Freehold First Aid EMTs were dispatched to help during the 9/11 attacks in 2001.
